One of the best decisions for a personalised ceremony!

Holden was absolutely amazing. They are queer like us and grew up in Hong Kong so can speak Cantonese like me. They were so thoughtful - prepare a very personalised ceremony for us, incorporating our story (we both had to fill in a questionnaire separately) and the final product was just amazing! They also included very personal bits about my family which was extremely heartfelt.

We had the utter pleasure of Holden being our celebrant at our wedding. Quite frankly Holden made the ceremony. It was incredible. Every single guest commented on just how special our ceremony was and how personal Holden had made it. They really did make it the most personal of times. Plus, our children thought they were really cool and loved spending time with them before, during and after the ceremony. We cannot thank Holden enough. They made our wedding day incredibly special.

We had our handfasting ceremony with Giddy & Gay yesterday and honestly could not have asked for a more meaningful experience. Holden was incredibly thorough, organised, and thoughtful throughout the whole process. They spent time really getting to know us and our story, going back and forth with us to create a ceremony script that felt deeply personal and authentic to who we are as a couple. They even looked over our vows and made suggestions to help balance them with each other, which we really appreciated.

As a queer couple, it meant so much to work with someone who genuinely understood us. Holden being queer and non-binary themselves meant we felt celebrated and understood rather than simply tolerated, and that made such a difference to the atmosphere and emotional safety of the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, peaceful, and very well thought out. We had a small elopement and Holden led it so naturally that we felt completely relaxed and present throughout.

You could really feel that Holden had listened to us and intentionally crafted something unique for our relationship. I would absolutely recommend Giddy & Gay to other queer couples, especially anyone looking for a ceremony that feels truly reflective of who they are.

Holden was an AMAZING officiant. They really took the time to get to know us, and crafted a beautiful elopement with lots of laughter and beautiful words. They were also great to plan with, and we loved working with them. Highly recommend!!

Holden performed our vow renewal ceremony this month and was an absolute DREAM to work with!

They were friendly and attentive throughout the entire planning process, and had helpful advice every step of the way. They encouraged us to incorporate our favourite things into their script, which ultimately wound up with a very fun, very silly ceremony with lots of laughter. (We even had a dnd dice exchange and a Lord of the Rings reading, what a win!).
